Established in 1906 and re-founded in 1953 (after being dismantled during the fascist regime), it brings together researchers, teachers and practitioners of philosophy on a national level, i.e. university professors, secondary school teachers, researchers and scholars. The Society’s activities include conferences and seminars, the organization of training courses for teachers accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, and the collective development of new models and teaching approaches.  The results of this research are disseminated through two scientific journals, the Bollet...

Societies Session

Welcome  |  About  |  The 25th Edition  |  Submissions  |  Programme  |  Registration  |  Associated Events  |  Contacts Programme Societies Session Member societies of FISP that wish to hold meetings during the Congress are kindly requested to write to the President of FISP no later than February 1st, 2024. The number of sessions organized by each member society may be subject to limitations due to logistic constraints. Proposals submitted after Feb 1 would be conditionally accepted depending on the number of available rooms at the host institution. Dialogic Session

Welcome  |  About  |  The 25th Edition  |  Submissions  |  Programme  |  Registration  |  Associated Events  |  Contacts Programme Dialogic Session A small number of newly introduced sessions, called Philosophical Dialogues about Critical Societal Questions, will be included in the programme of the Congress. They are meant to address key questions of public concern through a small discussion group. These dialogic sessions were proposed and are coordinated by Professor Peter Jonkers (P.H.A.I.Jonkers@tilburguniversity.edu). They will prompt an open debate allowing comments from different philosophical, political, and societal perspectives. Additional information about these sessions will be provided soon.

Round Tables

Round tables would usually last 2 hours. They should include speakers from at least three different countries and are subject to the approval of the Steering Committee of FISP. Participation in more than one Round table as well as multiple submissions are allowed. Submissions of overlapping panels are nonetheless discouraged. To submit a proposal for a round table, please send a brief description to Professor Jacob Rendtorff ( jacrendt@ruc.dk ) and Dr. Flavia Palmieri ( flavia.palmieri@uniroma1.it ) using the  official form .
